The Arnold House
Set on seven acres and nestled into the forest of Shandelee Mountain, The Arnold House is owned and operated by a husband and wife team and their English Bulldog Adelaide. Adelaide loves attention and other dogs, and can usually be found running around the property and picking up sticks.
They offer an array of activities to enjoy, like fly fishing, hiking trails, farm visits and brewery tours. They also have a full calendar of fun events like garden walks and talks, happy hours and comedy nights. On weekends in the summer, there’s live music and BBQs.
For in-house fun, there’s a pool table, a working jukebox, a tavern and a full spa.
The Arnold House also has a Lakehouse for those looking for a bit more privacy. It’s a two bedroom home on the lake, perfect for a family or small group of friends.
They charge a $75 pet fee to help cover the costs of cleaning, but rest assured that for this, they also provide a dog bed for your pup, food bowls and treats! They also ask that pups joining the trip are quiet and comfortable while unaccompanied in your room during meals, so as not to disturb guests and leashed in common spaces. Please let them know at the time of booking if you plan to bring your furry friend along.

Postcard Cabins (formerly called Getaway) offers tiny cabins nestled in nature. It’s the perfect way to unplug, relax and getaway from the big city.
Their New York outpost is located in the Catskills, just one hundred miles up the Hudson. Their collection of cabins spread across 20 acres and are built to accommodate two to four people.
Cabins include picnic tables, a campfire pit and grills, and queen sized beds.
They’re close to outdoor attractions like Kaaterskill Falls and the Overlook Mountain Trail, with plenty to do and see.

Dogfish Inn
Explore scenic coastal Delaware and experience the ultimate beer-cation at the dog-friendly Dogfish Inn.
Designed with beer and nature lovers in mind, the Dogfish brand has a brewery with 27 rotating taps, a distillery, a restaurant and an inn. It’s located in historic downtown Lewes alongside the canal, with a nearby kayak and boat-launch and winding bike trails.
There are seven dog-friendly rooms that allow two small dogs or one large dog per room. Each room comes complete with a couple of chairs, a tote, a 32oz growler for brewery visits and a small cooler that you’re encouraged to use on outings. Visitors can borrow bikes, Kan Jam, corn hole, or bocce ball sets, or explore their City Light Library to check out a book or two.
