Many churches around the city open their doors to animals in October when they celebrate the Feast of Saint Francis of Assisi, the patron saint of animals. But what about during the rest of the year? 

Jan Hus Presbyterian Church welcomes dogs all year round. Located on the Upper East Side, the church opened in 1888 and is named for a a Bohemian priest. Aside from being a place of worship, they also run large community outreach missions, promoting music, theater and culture. They also have a homeless outreach program.

Worship in a gay-friendly, straight-friendly, trans-friendly, family-friendly, children-friendly, and pet-friendly environment.
