The Best Pet-Friendly Hotels in New York City

Not all hotels are created equal. While some are simply pet tolerant, others are pet obsessed, welcoming your furry friend with open arms. There are some hotels in New York City that go the extra mile to welcome you and your pooch to the Big Apple. And why shouldn’t they? New York City is a great place to visit with a dog. It’s one of the most walkable cities in the country, it’s home to some epic parks, and it has a slew of dog-friendly restaurants and cafes.

When you’re done with all of the dog-friendly activities the city has to offer, you can head home and spend the night comfortably at one of these hotels. Many offer special pet amenities, like loaner dog beds and toys, that’ll have your dogs tail wagging.

  1. I was travelling with my family and I checked in at the Kimpton was. I was really impressed at how caring they were for our golden retriever. And the hotel has A LOT of leg room so it’s no biggie to bring a big kind of dog. Imagine bringing a golden retriever to work though?
