Wright’s Farm

Wright’s Farm is a 5th generation family run farm located in Gardiner, NY. They have 453 acres producing 100,000 bushels of apples annually. They grow other produce too, like peaches, berries, cherries, and more.

During September and October, they allow two-legged and four-legged visitors to pick apples and pumpkins. Be sure to check out their market store as well for fresh apple cider doughnuts and a variety of pies.

Apple Dave’s Orchards

Apple Dave’s Orchards is the perfect place to spend a fall afternoon. They have 11 apple varieties and pumpkins of all sizes to choose from. There’s also a lake, a walking trail, an herb garden and wagon rides. Don’t forget to pick up some homemade jam or apple cider at the country store on your way out. Admission and parking are free!

Barton’s Orchards

Come to Barton’s for the apples, but stay for the dog park. They have pick-your-own apples, as well as fruits and vegetables like tomatoes, cucumbers, eggplant, peppers, beans and squash. There’s a petting zoo, fun park, corn maze and haunted house for all ages, and a tap room for adults where you can drink local craft beers, hard ciders and wine. More importantly, they have a dog park! There’s separate play area for large and small dogs, watering stations, shade areas, and benches.

Don’t leave without visiting their farm store, where they sell everything from local eggs and milk to coffee, soup, cider doughnuts, jams, jellies, pies and more.

Stone Ridge Orchard

Stone Ridge Orchard is a 200-year-old working farm in the heart of the Rondout Valley. They practice sustainable farming in their day-to-day operations, and are currently working with Cornell University on projects that eliminate the use of conventional pesticides. Their work to produce healthy and delicious produce makes this a place worth visiting.

Hurds Family Farm

The Hurds Family Farm lets you pick your own apples, pumpkin, and even cut your own zinnia bouquet. They have a pond, bouncy pillow, and giant slide. Have lunch at their farm to table cafe, or take a hike on one of their trails.

Jenkins-Lueken Orchards

Jenkins-Lueken Orchards offer over 500 apples trees for picking. Grab a wheelbarrow and pick a pumpkin from the patch. They offer a bakery and farm stand, and press their own cider right on site.

Stuart’s Fruit Farm

Stuart’s Fruit Farm is a family-operated farm that’s been active since 1828. It’s only about an hour away from New York City. In the fall they have apple picking and peach picking, and hay rides around the farm. Hit up the bakery for delicious apple cider doughnuts and homemade pies baked daily. It’s cash or check only, so come prepared.

Wilklow Orchards

Wilklow Orchards have been run by the same family for six generations. They offer picking for over 13 different varieties of apples. They operate their own bakery, where you can purchase muffins, breads, and jams made out of fruit picked right on the farm. Be sure to check out the hay jump and small tunnels.

Dr. Davies Farm

Dr. Davies Farm has over 4,000 trees and 15 different varieties of apples on 55 acres. You can take a hay ride to the pumpkin patch or get lost in their corn maze. They also sell many varieties of flowers and planters to spruce up your fall decor!

Kelder’s Farm

Kelder’s Farm has pick-your-own pumpkins, apples, raspberries, tomatoes, sweet corn, potatoes, peppers, kale and more. They offer plenty of farm activities to keep you entertained, including mini-golf, a corn maze, a petting farm, and a hay mountain jumping pillow. They’re also home to Kerhonkson’s giant gnome, a giant gnome lawn ornament. Don’t leave without checking out the farm market, where they sell fresh eggs, free-range chicken, and grass-fed beef and lamb.

Outhouse Orchards
